Winter Storm Fern Forces Vanderbilt vs. Ole Miss to Birmingham

Dores & Rebels to Meet in Birmingham

Winter Storm Fern has greatly impacted the South, with areas suffering major ice damage. The city of Nashville and surrounding areas took a hit, with many losing electricity as trees and power lines are down. Oxford, Mississippi, also suffered major devastation, and some areas are unrecognizable.

On Thursday, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss Women’s Basketball were set to face each other in Oxford, but the SEC and powers that be made the call to reschedule and relocate.

This contest will now take place in Birmingham, Alabama, on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT at Legacy Arena. Doors will open at 1:00 PM and admission is free. All seating will be general admission. If you would like to watch at home, you can catch it on SECN+ with Curt Bloom and Mo Finley on the call.
